So as a parent, you get to say awesome things like that all the time. Over the last 2 months my youngest daughter has just become affixiated with Winnie the Pooh. So of course my Wife and I try to get a couple things for her here and there that are related to Winnie the Pooh. But I find myself saying the funniest things. I think the best one was Last night when I asked my daughter if she was “brushing her teeth with Pooh”? We purchased a Winnie the Pooh toothbrush for her this weekend. But it doesn’t just end there, you get to say things like “Do you have Pooh on your ball?” or “Is that Pooh on your sock?”. If you figure out how to say these things at the right time, you get some really weird looks come back your way if you are out in public.
*Personal Side-note:
I really love being a Dad! I could not picture my life any different. I have a level of pride that I think could never be broken, but it only grows every day. I am just so so proud! Everything I do is always about trying to make a better life for my family and making sure that my kids have a good life. I have another little one on the way and I can’t wait!

Our youngest loves Pooh too! We just say “Pooh Bear” - no reason why though….
I couldn’t agree with you more, being a dad is the best job in the world!
You can learn a lot from POOH
Hahaha!
I couldn’t imagine hearing those in public.
We were at a restaurant once and I noticed my youngest was looking her shoes. I leaned over and said “Do you have Pooh on your shoes?”
I had a little giggle to myself over that one!
lol that’s amazing… i have a long way to go to start thinking about a family

I wonder if there’s a reason Pooh was chosen as the name of the bear, or i was just a random pick
EDIT: Actually since it’s Winnie the pooh, shouldn’t it be referred to as Winnie instead? =/
The real question is what is a ‘pooh’?!
lol i’m guessing it’s a bear that’s cooler than all the rest… and wears a red shirt
Pooh is definitely catchy. We still call my son Pooh and he’s almost 12 years old….hmmm come to think of it, I hope we’re not making him a fairyland candidate.
I’ve got all this to look forward to. Our first is due in July, when’s your second due, Bobs?
Expecting my third in early to mid July. Going to be a fun time!

[…] Are You Brushing Your Teeth With Pooh? - Bobs […]
Excuse my new name Bobs, I’m just taking advantage of your “DoFollow” generosity!
I teach English in Japan, and one of my students, an elementary school kid, told me his dad bought him a dog last week. I asked him what its name was and he said its name was “Poo”.
The next day, I was teaching his dad and he told me he had bought his son a dog called “Poo”. I explained what poo was in English and he cracked up laughing, very red faced. He then asked about Winnie the Pooh, who in Japan is known only as Pooh, not Winnie. I explained (whether true or not) that the bear’s name is Winnie, but he smells of poo, hence the name. All the students were in tears of laughter at this point.
Then I told them how funny it was that Disney bought poo from England, then sold poo to Japan, and now you can by poo everywhere, because it’s really popular. Japanese people love poo! Squeezing it, playing with it, wearing it, and even naming their pets after it!
Sir Spud.
Excellent comment, thank you for stopping by Sir Spud! Loved the story!
