This default theme really does not want it there, but I edited it so it would show the appropriate background and sidebar now. Also, you could add links to the thought bubble images to those categories - that would be fancy! One more thing, I don't know if you are aware but your single.php file doesn't include your sidebar file! I used to have a different sidebar content for single posts but changed it so you always see the full sidebar as those seem to be visited more often then the home page!
