The Right Side of Your Thought Cloud

The Human Brain - Amazing!

I just noticed something very scary - and completely coincidence. Look at my new header above. Isn’t it funny how I threw on all the technical items to the left and all the fun items to the right? I just happened to notice this and when I made the connection, I got a good laugh from it.

I know it only happened because I pretty much went in the order of things I am most likely to talk about. Starting with PHP items and than finishing off with Nonsense. I guess I thought from the left brain to the right ;)

INFO: Just in case you could not make the items out in my thought cloud, they are:
from [left to right | logical to fun]
php logo, mysql logo, zce logo, computer with ubuntu logo and windows logo, wordpress logo, firefox logo, spongebob, film roll, tv, bowling ball, & finally a nintendo wii

I have a suggestion about your header image: You should add a link to the ReformatThis logo to the index page of your site - As a visitor, I find it annoying when I can’t click the site’s name to go their home. Also, you could add links to the thought bubble images to those categories - that would be fancy!

One more thing, I don’t know if you are aware but your single.php file doesn’t include your sidebar file! I used to have a different sidebar content for single posts but changed it so you always see the full sidebar as those seem to be visited more often then the home page!

Hey Saman,
Thanks for the advice about the sidebar. This default theme really does not want it there, but I edited it so it would show the appropriate background and sidebar now. All should be to your liking ;)

Those are some good ideas about the logos in the thought clouds, perhaps as I start writing more I may do that.

As things are now, the sub title (Tips, Tricks, Comments, & Nonsense) is clickable to be taken back to home. I had it setup that way already, but I definitely do agree with you. The “reformatthis” is part of the background image rather than a foreground image - so I have not coded in a clickable field yet, but I had planned on doing that.

Thanks for all the advice man - I definitely appreciate it a whole lot!

No worries bud! I noticed the tagline is clickable, but, as your most important visitor, you need to customize your site to my liking!

Officially done with bringing the logo out of the background image and brought it into the foreground. It is now a clickable link that will take you to the homepage.

So we can now both be happy! The website is to my liking and my most important visitor!
