I follow you too. I’m running wordpres with a nofollow remover plugin and akismet, and I also have to approve comments so no chance for spam on my comments

With akismet, I have been lucky so far to not have any spam make it through as of yet.

I kinda prefer to post a list of good comment links from time to time, rather than kill the nofollow, as I REALLY don’t want to help out spammers. Nofollow shouldn’t be needed though – you’re right.
